CHRIS DENNY
Meet Chris Denny– GPMTA Board Member
Chris has been a part of our local community for eighteen years and currently sits on the board of Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association, The Mid North Coast Community College, Business Port Macquarie, and several other community organisations.
Chris and his wife Trish previously established and managed The Observatory Hotel on Town Beach and have long been keen and passionate contributors to the economic and social fabric our Region.
Chris joined the Chamber Board, now called Business Port Macquarie in 2018 to support and help our business community flourish. Chris has been an active member working strategically with local government and the local community.
We asked Chris what he loves the most about tourism in our region?
Chris said, ‘It is hard to look past our close connection with nature and our nature based experiences but it has also been highly satisfying to watch the sophistication that has developed in our tourism product and services and the strong sense of place that exists for all our communities.’
With so many new and not so new attractions available to visitors and locals alike, the region has so much to offer.
What Chris loves the most is being home and showcasing the region and our many attractions to visiting family and friends.
