Port Macquarie and surrounding regions have a packed schedule this November, starting with Melbourne Cup festivities on November 5. Several venues, including Laurieton United Services Club, Tacking Point Tavern, and Rydges Port Macquarie, will host special luncheons complete with fashion parades and live entertainment. For a more unique experience, Port AdVenture Cruises offers a river cruise with interactive entertainment, DJ music, and prizes for the best-dressed guests
Live music and performances dominate the month with various events at venues like The Bowl, Settlers Inn, and the Glasshouse Theatre. Highlights include a Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks tribute show on November 23 and “Bjorn Again: Waterloo Anniversary Tour” on November 29 at the Glasshouse. Additionally, popular local artists such as Rhys Callinan and Kyle Moore will perform at The Terrace on select nights throughout the month, offering entertainment to suit all musical tastes
For families and art lovers, there’s plenty to explore. The Magic of Christmas Night Market at Charles Sturt University on November 22 features artisan stalls, live performances, and Christmas tree lighting. Art enthusiasts can enjoy hands-on workshops such as the “Make-a-Mug Pottery” session on November 13, or indulge in a creative day with the “Sensational Silk Painting Workshop” on November 23
