Board Members

In 2023 Trudyellen Richards joined the board of directors of the GMPTA and has undertaken the Membership Services sub-committee. She is looking forward to engaging with the membership to ensure they are taking advantage of all the membership benefits and features that are on offer to support their businesses.

Ian Mobbs is a Landscpe architect and is the designer of the wonderful maze at Bago Winery. Ian represents the Wauchope and Hinterland area on the GPMTA Board.

Katie Turner is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in navigating diverse business landscapes. As a seasoned founder, Katie has honed her expertise in creating dynamic digital strategies that transform online representations, making them professional, attractive, and effective in drawing ideal customers through targeted messaging and digital platform sales. Her ability to bridge the gap between customer experience, technical design, and the digital realm ensures seamless integration and impactful results for her clients.

Helen Mansfield joined the GPMTA Board in 2020. She is the co-Director, of Mansfield Estate, an eco-tourism facility at Grant’s Beach. She is member of the GPMTA/PMHC Marketing Sub Committee.

Businessman Rod Bucton is new Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce president, continuing a long family tradition in Laurieton. He is the representative of the Camden Haven on GPMTA.

Chris has been a GPMTA Board Member since 2010. Chris is Director of his company Southern Cross Resorts, the former management company for The Observatory.

Cassie Clark is the Owner/Operator of Seasalt Cafe Restaurant at the Port Macquarie Marina. She has been a member of the Greater Port Macquarie Association Tourism Board for 1 year and is coming into her second term.

Elsa Barbosa is co-owner of Port AdVenture Cruises and moved to Port Macquarie in August 2018. Originally from Portugal, migrated to Sydney in 1983.

Adam has been a GPMTA Board for 11 years.  He is the owner of Watershed  Insurance Brokers.  He has extensive experience with the Tourism Industry in Western Australia.

Janette is President of the Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association since 2010. She has been active in the Association since 1984.

Kerry is focused on supporting our community to uncover new opportunities for small business to grow their markets. Kerry has lived on the north side of Port Macquarie for the last 6 years and is passionate about the community and believes “if you want things to change, you need to be part of that change”.
